Robert and Heather Hunt live at Sunningdale, Lt. Thurlow Green, with sons Marcus who is 17 and Paul who is 13. They have been in the village twenty years and they have seen more houses built in their area and the changes taking place at Manor Farm. Fewer children use the village school and they regret the loss of the squash court as Robert was a keen player.
Robert is a builder based in Glemsford, and Heather works for Mid Anglia Community Health as an administrator, specialising in mental health care in Haverhill.
Both boys support local professional football teams, Marcus being a keen Ipswich supporter and Paul a Norwich City supporter.
Heather likes gardening, cycling, and walking. She has been involved for eight years in the Thurlow Fayre, most of the time being Secretary. She says the community spirit in the village is not as good as it once was, with short term tenants not getting so involved in village activities. Rape fields also cause the family problems, but on the whole they enjoy village life, especially since they are lucky enough to have good neighbours.
