Felicity and Howard Downer with their three children have lived at 139a Locks Cottage, Pound Green, for the past two years. Howard’s father and aunt also live in the village. Felicity was born in Ridgewell and Howard in Eastbourne.
Howard travels both locally and further afield as a contractor.
The children attend school in Bury St. Edmunds where they take part in football, cricket and rugby; they are members of the chess club and music club after school.
They feel Thurlow provides a nice environment for children to grow up in, but they think it lacks after-school activities.
Felicity and Howard have not lived here long enough to see any changes.
