School Governor Vacancy - Hundon and Thurlow Primary School Federation
Thurlow CEVC Primary School
Thurlow is a successful and vibrant Church of England primary school which has recently grown to include ten and eleven year olds. We are a close knit community of children, staff, governors and parents.
The school is very pleasantly situated in grounds backing onto farmland. There are four classrooms with cloakrooms, a library, a resource room and a Hall, which is used for collective worship, assemblies, P.E., concerts, activities and school lunches. There is a Headteacher’s office, Secretary’s office, a staff room, and a kitchen where hot and cold school lunches are prepared. Outside there is a heated outdoor Swimming Pool, hard play area, physical and imaginative play area, paved shaded area, enclosed Early Years Outdoor Classroom, a pond and Wildlife Area and a playing field.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
At Thurlow School children, parents, staff, governors and community members work together to provide our children with a curriculum that ensures they attain highly and behave well, and are also healthy and secure, confident and caring, creative and independent.
